	Liang Xuming Hotcard Founder & President. Chairman of Xiamen Scan Technology Co. Ltd.

	Mr. Liang founded Hotcard in Dec 2000 and Xiamen Scan Technology in May 2002. He has 15 years of industrial/research experience, worked as a director, R&D manager in 2 Singapore Companies, and a research staff and champion of the Hotcard Business Unit in the largest research lab of South-East Asia --- Institute for Infocomm Research. Mr. Liang possesses strong academy background and business experience in the fields of Chinese/English OCR, Business Card Recognition (BCR), image processing, database, imaging technologies and Internet & handheld computing applications. Mr. Liang was co-cultivated PHD student of Technical University Berlin (West Germany) and Beijing Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1991 majoring in OCR technology. He obtained Master Degree from Electronic Department of Beijing Institute of Technology in 1987 and Bachelor degree from Information and Electronic Department of Zhejiang University in 1985.
